In 2006, I had the opportunity to deliver a peer-reviewed conference presentation at EDRA in Atlanta. The Environmental Design Research Association conference is held annually and features presentations relating to all ascpects of research into the built environment.
The paper discussed preliminary findings from my PhD research, which investigated responses to facade colour within the context of planning policy in NSW.
The peer reviewed conference presentation was well-received at the EDRA conference, and dovetailed with the findings of other researchers in the field. Feedback from the presentation provided me with invaluable insight that helped to inform the next stages of my PhD research.
The paper is available from the EDRA archive.
